Updates!

Just a few updates from the last month or so. Things with the youth ministry are busy! We took a trip to Great America with the teenagers for Christian Concert Night!

Madison was excited to see Dora, but had no idea who Diego was. She did NOT like Diego!

But....she really loved Blue!

And...she really love Dancer the miniature horse...

Grandpa Dave helped Maddie plant a garden this spring. She planted sunflowers, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, pumpkins, squash and zucchini. Here is her first zucchini!

And as always....Casey is a part of our life experiencing new things everyday. It finally dawned on us that he might actually enjoy riding in Madison's old car.

Easter and The Oaks!

Easter 2009 went by very quickly this year! Madison decided that she would go to the church Easter Eggstravaganza with bling on this year.

Casey was content in his jammies sittin' in the back yard with an egg.

The grandpa's doting on him....he loves it!

Here's our Easter diva...we had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard too. These ones had money instead of candy...thanks grandma...no more candy needed.

The next week after Easter we took a quick trip to The Oaks camp in southern california where Tim's sister lives. We took Madison and her cousin Holly out for the day to Muligan's mini golf, batting cages and bowling. All that Madison cared about was "Cinderella's castle". She was fascinated by this little castle.

Then it was time for mommy and daddy to go on a date...while Auntie Lisa and Uncle Tom watched the kids of course! We took a drive down to Beverly Hills and ate at Kate Mantilini (the restaurant where part of the movie Heat was filmed; Tim's favorite movie). We had just missed Bruce Willis by a little more than an hour. If you look closley in the background (haha), you can see Whitney Port? (from The Hills; don't know about this show, but according to the waitress it was her)

Casey enjoyed himself on the swings once the days became warmer.
Here's a picture of the cousins in Ventura at the Channel Islands Visitor Center.
Finally, it was time to say goodbye.

Three Days in Monterey!

After a stressful couple of months, we decided it was time for a rest in Monterey. Cannery Row

Pacific Grove Golf (Poor Man's Pebble) He
finished 2 under par! (68)
Daddy Daughter Date at the beach!

She is way too cute to
be our kid!

Playin' in the ice cold water! Kids
don't care.
This clear, cold water will have to do until
we can afford to get to Hawaii some day.

"Dad! Stop taking pictures!"
"Yeah! This Dennis the Menace Park is like
a park on steroids!"

Again, way too cute to be ours!

No, mommy is not taking the pictures. Mommy
was back at the hotel sleeping.

Surfer's Lighthouse Museum in Santa Cruz.
Maddie made it her point to let us know the
entire drive that she has never seen a lighthouse
and that we needed to find one.
